Biography

2001 to 2006 PhD at the Center for Social Policy Research at University of Bremen. 2003 to 2006 head of the administrative unit Equal Opportunities at the University of the Arts Bremen. 2006 to 2009 research associate at the Institute Labour and Economy at the University of Bremen, there coordination of a BMBF Research Network. Since 2009 research associate at the Institute for Social Research. During this time various teaching positions. Since 2020 Deputy Professorship for Inklusion und Arbeit: Gender und Diversity at TU Dortmund. Acting spokesperson of the section Professionssoziologie in the German Sociological Association. Coordination of the research network Sociology of Professions in the European Sociological Association. Board member of the research committee Sociology of Professional Groups in the International Sociological Association.
