Professor of General Sociology at the Freiburg University of Education. Previously Professor of Gender and Sexuality at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Doctorate in 2012 at Goethe University Frankfurt. Subsequently teaching and research at various institutes in Germany, Israel, Austria and the USA, including the University of California, Berkeley, Tel Aviv University and the University of Graz. Head of the DFG project » Psychotherapeutische Behandlung arbeitsbezogenen Leidens in Deutschland (PsyWork)«, member of medico international and of the editorial board of Psychotherapie Forum, journal of the austrian Bundesverbands für Psychotherapie. At the Institute for Social Research she is one of the speakers of the working group Gender, Kinship, Sexuality and chair of the ethics commission.
