Hospital Nursing in Times of Societal Change. Organizational Dynamics of Re- and Devaluation of Care Work

In recent times, the German hospital sector has witnessed both an upgrading and a downgrading of nursing. The project explores from a sociological perspective the role of the organizational processing of changing political and social framework conditions in constituting nurses’ experiences of upgrading and downgrading in hospital settings.
