Knowledge Network »Antisemitism and Threats to Democracy«

The rise of anti-democratic attitudes and movements is accompanied by an increase in antisemitic attitudes and actions. The Knowledge Network examines the interrelations between antisemitism and hostility toward democracy from historical, socio-theoretical and subject-theoretical, as well as educational-practical perspectives. In six thematically focused workshops, theoretical and empirical approaches to these dynamics will be developed. The aim is to establish the foundation for the systematic development and acquisition of cooperative, third-party-funded research projects in the field of antisemitism and democracy studies, as well as for antisemitism-critical educational work.
