Promotion in Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie (Universität Wien), mit Gaststudien in Soziologie (Lancaster) und Philosophie (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. M.). Anschließend Post-doc Fellow der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, sowie wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der School of Humanitites and Social Sciences der Universität St. Gallen, Schweiz. Sprecher des »Anthropology of Economy Networks« der European Association for Social Anthropology und der Arbeitsgruppe Wirtschaftsethnologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie. Seit 2017 mit dem Institut für Sozialforschung verbunden, ab 2020 durch das Projekt VERSUS.
