Biographie

Born in Córdoba, Argentina, in 1976. Political exile in Stockholm, Sweden, since 1977. Doctorate at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain/Universidad Nacional de la Plata, Argentina. Since 2013 Professor of Sociology and Social Theory at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). Since 2014 Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET). Between 2016 and 2022, coordinator of the CLACSO Working Group »Social Theory and Latin American Reality«. Since 2020 Director of the Research Program »World Social Change«, CONICET-UNC (Co-director: Stephan Lessenich). Since 2021 Coordinator of the »Permanent Seminar«, Phd Program in Social Studies of Latin America, Centre for Advanced Studies, FCS-UNC. Visiting professor at Friedrich Schiller Universität Jena, New York University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Cambridge, and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III.
