IfS | Perspectives

On the occasion of its centenary, the members of the Institute for Social Research have been conducting an intensive debate about perspectives for future research at the IfS. The interim results of this ongoing process of self-appraisal are documented in the following and presented for public discussion.

Good Research Practice

The IfS is committed to safeguarding good research practice. This is based on the relevant guidelines of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the statutes of Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main for implementing these guidelines. The IfS cooperates with the Fritz Bauer Institute and the Sigmund-Freud-Institute to investigate suspected cases of scientific misconduct through a commission.
